Liquified Gas Sampling Systems

Closed-Loop Samplers with Outage Tube & Expansion Chamber

Liquified Gas Sampling Systems with Outage Tube and Expansion Chamber

Spirare Energy's Liquified Gas Sampling Systems are engineered for the safe, representative, and emission-free collection of pressurized liquefied gases, including LPG (Propane, Butane), propylene, butadiene, LNG, light hydrocarbons, and high vapor pressure liquids. Because liquefied gas expands dramatically with even minor increases in ambient temperature, our systems incorporate vital outage and expansion safeguards to prevent hydraulic overpressurization and cylinder rupture during transportation and laboratory analysis.

Designed in strict compliance with ASTM D1265, GPA 2174, and DOT/TPED standards, the series features precision internal outage tubes (dip tubes providing 10% to 60% vapor outage) or auxiliary expansion chambers (75cc, 150cc, 300cc) to guarantee a minimum 20% vapor headspace. Coupled with single-handle synchronized valve linkages, continuous fast-loop bypass routing, and dedicated Nitrogen (N2) purge connections, our samplers clear connection lines and quick-disconnect fittings before uncoupling, ensuring zero hazardous VOC emission or personnel exposure.

Standard wetted parts are manufactured in SS 316/316L, with exotic metallurgy (Hastelloy C-276, Monel 400, Inconel 625, Duplex 2205) and specialized Sulfinert / PTFE-coated cylinders available for sour gases and trace sulfur analysis. Spanning configurations from basic outage tube samplers (GS6) to multi-port bypass systems with expansion chambers (GS7–GS10) and secondary safety expansion skids (GS11), Spirare Energy provides robust, custom-engineered liquefied gas sampling solutions for refineries, petrochemical plants, and tank farm terminals worldwide.
